Got the pumpkin board painted today. Just need to cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth. (Had to bring it inside because of the threat of rain and now the fumes are driving me nuts.) One more thing to mark off the list. Now just a few dozen other things to do. The kid's carnival is starting to come along though. Spook Sister had a co-worker that wanted to get rid if some wood so we went and got it the other night. This comes in just the right time. This week my youngest son and I are going to work on the bar and hopefully I can talk him into helping me make the stands for the games. Once those are done, the hard part is all that is left. Entertaining 20+ kids ranging in ages from 1 to 16 years old. Never said I had a whole lot of brains.
Getting excited though for September. The oldest graduates from "A" School in the Navy and gets to come home for 10 days. Then the last weekend is a "Girls" weekend in Gatlinburg. It will be nice to rest a little before October gets here.
